It all starts today: Australia and England battling it out in the first test for one of the most prestigious prizes in cricket and dare we say…sport!

Australia is in form with series wins against India and West Indies, plus the recent World Cup victory.

The Australian ‘Dad’s Army’ of Chris Rogers, Shane Watson, Shaun Marsh, Brad Haddin, Adam Voges, Mitchell Johnson, Fawad Ahmed and skipper Michael Clarke all being well into their 30s, has the advantage in terms of experience but will this be enough to turn the tables on recent Ashes form in England?

England has recently notched consecutive 1-1 series results – away to West Indies and at home to New Zealand – plus a thrilling 3-2 ODI series win over the Black Caps, but is this enough to overcome the Aussies?

We can’t wait to find out.
