Friday saw the successful launch of the Spartan Cricket Club, with a range of Spartan’s high profile ambassadors signing up as members of the first global cricket community.

The Spartan Cricket Club is an exciting initiative for lovers of the game, allowing you to join an exclusive community with access to ambassadors, cricket discussion, events and opportunities to access exclusive deals on Spartan’s world renowned equipment.

Former Australian Test captain Michael Clarke joined international surfer Sally Fitzgibbons in Sydney to launch the Club, at the Live Like Sally event in Martin Place. Describing it as a “great project”, Clarke said he was proud to be part of a Club that allows cricketers from around the world to come together as a family.

Clarke and Fitzgibbons were joined by Chris Gayle, Joe Burns, Johan Botha, Aiden Blizzard and Commando Steve as some of the Club’s inaugural members – forming the early stages of what is already an exciting community.

However, the Spartan Cricket Club is not just for superstars; anyone can become a member. Sports fans were quick to sign up at the Spartan marquees in Sydney’s Martin Place and in Melbourne’s Federation Square.
