As the eighth installment of the IPL begins to reach match 21, the table is beginning to take shape and we can look at how well our Spartan Ambassadors and the Chennai Super Kings are performing on the cricket pitch in India.

MS Dhoni

Indian international cricket and Chennai Super Kings’ captain MS Dhoni reached his fifth match in the 2015 IPL tournament last night, and has continued to show that he is a born leader who never fails to inspire and guide his team in every match throughout the competition so far. After 5 matches in the IPL Dhoni has continued to show us that he is more than capable of punishing any bowling attack after stamping his authority against Sunrisers Hyderabad. MSD cut loose from the 14th over onwards smashing four boundaries and four sixes as he raced to 50 in just 28 deliveries inspiring the Chennai Super Kings to a great victory. Not only is he a batting powerhouse for his teams but he is also a reliable wicket-keeper who is calm and composed at all times and never fails to show his affirmative leadership qualities that helps inspire any squad he leads. MS Dhoni has already taken the Chennai Super Kings to the IPL title twice in 2010 and 2011, and has also lifted the T20 Champions league trophy in 2010. His team currently sits in second after the first five matches and is looking to lift the IPL trophy for a third time.

In the big man’s second match of the 2015 IPL Season Chris smashed yet another record, sending his 200th six over the ropes in his 70th match in the IPL.
