Henry Thornton

An athletic young fast bowler, Henry Thornton’s deliveries average around 130km/h mark –not bad for a 17-year-old! Armed with an effective outswinger and a lethal bouncer, he took seven wickets at 22.14 while representing NSW at 2013-14 summer’s U/17 National Championships, while he also showed some potential with the bat, smashing 34 not out off 21 balls in a One Day fixture against the Northern Territory. Henry’s batting is an area of this game that is developing well and he is now on track to establish himself as a handy fast bowling all-rounder.
