A left-hand batsman and a slow left-arm orthodox, Ahillen represented Australia at the under-19 World Cup in 2004. He played for New South Wales Under 23 team. His career was derailed after an incident early in his career, where he was impaled by a pole trying to save a boundary, and lost his left kidney. However, he showed great mental fortitude to recovered strongly over a five year period, finally making his first class debut for the Sydney Thunder in 2014.
Beadle is a flexible, impressive middle order batsman who is very handy with the ball in his hand, delivering menacing off spinners. He will be an important member of the Thunder squad this season.
